German, or Ger, is an illustrator from the comic space. He has been imagining strange characters and bringing them to life for over 18 years, working for IDW, Dynamite Comics, and even Marvel.

You may know him better as the co-founder of Crypto Geisha, which he created with Leisha. It has almost 200 ETH volume traded, and is the foundation for their next big project, Super Geisha.

He has always been eager to experience new things, and the NFT space has provided plenty of opportunities to satisfy that concern. Ger has collaborated with many artists and projects, including BAYC and TIME magazine, Savage Dogs, Ykha Amelz, GLOWA, and more!

Now, along with MendezMendez, he has found the ideal partner to immerse himself in generative art.

MendezMendez is a digital artist from Spain. Through the medium of digital collage, he explores surrealism and lowbrow pop art with a unique and recognizable style.

After working in advertising for many years, MendezMendez broke the spell and turned his career 180 degrees to focus on his art, and ditched corporate design.

He found a niche for his artwork in album covers, and has been creating cover art for some of the top electronic record labels in the USA and Europe, like Dirtybird and Kittball Records.

His art is meaningful and weird. As a digital collage artist, his work involves bringing forgotten works that are part of the public domain back to life, and creating something completely new and thought provoking.

MendezMendez

Evan Odette is a painter from Toronto, Canada. He's gone by the name ROMbrandt since February 2021 when he found out about NFTs. Hi work mainly focuses on portraits and figures in an attempt to evoke an emotional connection with my audience. ROMbrandt practices “No Style” and changes his flow on the go. He does not limit himself to one way of working so that he can work in any manner needed to achieve the outcome he has in mind.\n

Waxbones is the alter ego of Bristol-based illustrator and graphic designer, Cal Jepps. His work juxtaposes the whimsical style of 1930’s cartoons with macabre blackwork tattoo stylings. Whilst playful, his pieces touch on themes of mental health and real-world experiences, as well as taking inspiration from punk music, comic books, and sci-fi and horror films.

Waxbones

AZAR, the mxtter genesis collection, is inspired by the "test prints" of screen printing. Screenprints are created one color, one layer at a time. Typically, artists or printers test each layer before starting the print run, using pages from previous prints or misprinted paper. These sheets slowly gather more layers of color and artworks from different artists.

The resulting prints are impossible to plan -- accidents and imperfections are welcomed.

With AZAR, MendezMendez and Ger wanted to transfer this concept to the world of art generated by code. They have created layers and layers of textures, color spots, halftones, collages, and various illustrations to create unique pieces, letting the code randomly define what will happen to each one. AZAR is a tribute to imperfection, mistakes, and randomness, from which beautiful things are born.
